Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in SOUTHFIELD, Michigan. This role is essential to the HR department, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This role is situated within the telecom industry, where tasks will involve document management, equipment collections, and email correspondence, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and file documents in the HR department efficiently

• Distribute incoming items to the appropriate departments

• Collect equipment from staff members who have exited the company

• Organize HR materials such as ID badge replacements

• Monitor and manage the HR email inbox, redirecting emails to the necessary departments

• Provide administrative support to the HR department

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to pull and analyze reports

• Answer inbound calls and provide excellent customer service

• Conduct data entry tasks and manage email correspondence effectively

• Schedule appointments and manage Microsoft Outlook calendar

• File and organize documents in a systematic manner according to priority. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.

• Experience with data entry tasks and managing file systems.

• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.

• Excellent email correspondence skills.

• Strong ability to handle filing and record keeping tasks.

• Capable of answering inbound calls and handling client inquiries.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
