Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with specific expertise in audit and ERP implementation. This role is critical in overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Lead and manage the audit process, both internal and external

• Implement and manage NetSuite ERP system

• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making

• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives

• Manage and mentor the finance team

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required

• Proven experience in audit, including first audit experience

• Demonstrated experience in implementing NetSuite ERP system

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller capacity for a large organization ($150M+)

• Prior experience in a leadership or managerial position preferred
