Must-haves:

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience

• Practical knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral

• Experience applying engineering principles and computer science fundamentals

• Experience implementing data structures and algorithm within the C and C++ programming languages

• Proficient experience using software version control systems (subversion, git, etc.)

• Proficient experience using software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build

• Experience implementing software using Microsoft Visual Studio and/or other cross-compilation platforms

• Experience implementing software for Real-Time Operating Systems and/or embedded systems

• Experience working in a highly-collaborative multi-disciplinary team

• Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts of moderate complexity

• Experience mentoring junior team members Strong organization skills and work ethic

Preferred:

• Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral

• Familiarity and/or experience with Python, MATLAB, and other programming languages

• Familiarity and/or experience with computer graphics programming (OpenGL / Vulkan)

• Familiarity and/or experience with machine learning principles and techniques

• Interest in avionics systems, embedded software, drones, robotics, computer vision, control systems, statistics, mathematics and/or computer networking
