About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Spartanburg SC USA.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the establishment of books of account for the division including sales/ receivables, purchases/payables/payments, fixed assets, general ledger, taxes and financial statements.

• Receipt and reconciliation of all OEM customer payments, debit and credit memo discrepancies, and irreconcilable items.

• Contact customers for all escalated OEM collection issues, debit and credit memo discrepancies and irreconcilable items.

• Prepare month-end closing activities, analyses and quarterly schedules as required to adequately document the financial position of Fuel Systems.

• Assist with the establishment and maintenance of the division’s ability to monitor profitability on a product by product basis.

Who we are looking for

• Must have strong understanding of US-GAAP

• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Must possess high sense of urgency

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• ERP system experience, preferably SAP

• Excellent Negotiation, relationship building and confronting skills

Your preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field

• CPA preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting

• 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
