Cook Medical Business Systems & Reporting Analyst in Spencer, Indiana

Overview

The Business Systems and Reporting Analyst serves as the front-line resource in managing reporting requests and requirements for the Cook Capital Equipment management team. This role is expected to assist in planning, requirements alignment, verification, and maintenance of multiple IT solutions and interacts regularly with internal business customers to capture and understand reporting and data service requests.

Responsibilities

• Help define and clarify reporting requirements; propose, define, and develop appropriate solutions; and provide feedback to the management team• Perform quality reviews of developed solutions and ensure proper user acceptance• Monitor systems to ensure appropriate content, users, roles, and responsibilities are in place and aligned to business needs• Cost and margin analysis• Functional discussions and analysis/identifying key performance indicators• Report development and maintenance• Liaise with IT and other members of reporting team to help create efficiencies and ensure data integrity• Investigate technical issues

• Provide metrics to stakeholders• Assist with prioritizing reporting requests• Identify opportunities for reporting improvements• Perform quality review of new and existing reporting solutions.• Coordinate end user review and acceptance of the developed solutions• Analyze reporting service requests and define technical specifications for efficient development• Must work effectively with and for others to achieve company goals• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements• Must meet company attendance requirements• Must maintain company quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or experience of such kind and amount to provide a comparable background• 3 or more years in reporting and/or analysis role• Strong knowledge of relational database applications• Working experience with end user Report design, development and implementation with a strong focus on Power BI

• Demonstrated ability to drive to deadlines, balancing multiple priorities, and ensuring quality standards• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills• Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Word)• Oracle Fusion, Oracle Integration Cloud experience preferred• Experience communicating technical details to technical and non-technical resources

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Works under general office environmental conditions.• Sitting for extended periods, utilizes close visual acuity for working with computers, etc.
