Position Overview

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, analytical, professional, and energetic individual to serve as statewide Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Staff Development Training Administrator. Under administrative direction, this position will provide leadership, administrative oversight, and programmatic management of all DCFS Child Protection Training Academy programs and services. This position will also define and direct the development of child welfare services training curricula and annual training plans, utilizing a performance analysis process. Job Responsibilities

1. Serves as Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) Staff Development Training Administrator.

2.Develops and implements statewide policies and procedures for all Simulations staff development and training programs.

3.Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff.

4.Develops and implements operational and program plans and budgets statewide consistent with an assessment of ongoing Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) training needs.

5.Defines and directs the development of statewide planning for Child Protection Training Academy (Simulations) training programs to meet the needs of specific departmental divisions and initiatives.

6.Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
