Aerotek Building Maintenance Technician in St. Louis, Missouri

Description:

The Building Maintenance Tech will follow standard operating procedures, install, inspect, repair and do preventative maintenance to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and waste management systems. The position will perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to service, quality and safety standards.

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, building automation and door hardware

  • Basic construction (drywalling, flooring)

  • HVAC troubleshooting including heat pumps, chillers, boilers, RTU's, VAV's, heat exchangers, pumps

  • Plumbing repairs (copper pipe, PVC pipe)

  • Respond to and complete tenant repair requests on lighting, plumbing, HVAC, etc.

  • Preventative maintenance

  • Document maintenance activities thoroughly

PAY: $29/HR with opportunity for overtime.

SHIFT: Start time between 6AM and 8AM (decided during interview), eight hour shift. Monday through Friday. 30 minute lunch.
