Description

Join our dynamic and collaborative team of professionals including a lead developer, scrum master, Project Manager, software engineers, and interns. We are currently looking to fill the role of a mid-level Java Developer tasked with critical backend development of our enterprise applications and systems. This contract to full time role will be hybrid on site in the St. Louis area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply adept knowledge of Software Engineering principles and methodologies.

• Develop and maintain micro-service APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Manage code revisions and version control systems including Git, Bitbucket, and others.

• Ensure proficiency in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) systems, specifically Jenkins.

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of client-server/application workings and HTTP protocols and requests.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, specifically in Java.

• Extensive knowledge in Software Engineering principles and methodologies.

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for microservice APIs.

• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).

• Previous experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery systems, Jenkins in particular.

• Solid understanding of client-server/application workings and HTTP protocols and requests.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are vital.
