Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional in the realm of video production to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in all facets of video production, demonstrating a deep understanding of terminology, logistics, and precise timing essential for successful project execution. With exceptional team chemistry, the candidate must seamlessly integrate into collaborative environments while also demonstrating the ability to excel when working independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Primary Shooter: Serve as the primary shooter for a diverse array of productions, ranging from run-and-gun/guerilla style shoots to large-scale productions with extensive crews, challenging locations, and tight deadlines.

  • Footage Management: Take ownership of managing all captured footage, ensuring its seamless integration into our video servers via established processes. Responsible for selecting footage and generating keywords for our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to streamline organization and accessibility.

  • Content Delivery: Oversee the delivery of finalized content, ensuring it meets quality standards and project requirements.

  • Light Editing: Occasionally undertake light editing duties as needed, demonstrating proficiency in editing software and techniques.

  • Equipment Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience with Sony cameras, particularly FS7 and A7s3, as well as a variety of lenses, grip, and gaffer equipment.

  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel as required, adapting to fluctuating travel demands inherent in the role.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to Travel to St. Paul 3 to 4 days a week

  • Veteran in Video Production: Extensive experience in the video production industry, with a comprehensive understanding of its intricacies.

  • Team Player: Exceptional team chemistry with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse team environments.

  • Versatility: Proficient in adapting to various production scales, from small-scale shoots to large-scale productions.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with Sony cameras, lenses, and related equipment.

  • Footage Management Skills: Experience in managing and organizing footage, with familiarity in DAM systems preferred.

  • Editing Skills: Basic proficiency in video editing software is desirable.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience with Sony FS7 and A7s3 cameras.

  • Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.

  • Demonstrated experience in both independent and team-based production environments.

Note: Passion projects is a huge plus
