ADP Senior Implementation Team Manager in Staines, United Kingdom

JOB TITLE: Senior Implementation Team Manager

DEPARTMENT : Implementation

LOCATION: Various UK / ADP Flexible 3-2 Model

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time

JOB PURPOSE

  • To successfully deliver strategic transformational programs and projects for UK & I Implementation assigned by the UK Implementation Director and the UK & I Senior Leadership Team (SLT), including but not limited to, The ongoing maintenance of the Implementation organisational structure, UK Client Central adoption, Transformation initiatives & VBA automation opportunities for UK&I Implementation)

  • To lead a team of Technical Consultants & Business Analysts who apply their expertise to support strategic business initiatives, improve business process and support the Implementation Department on the more technical aspects of implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for the continuation of future pod sustainability by reviewing operational feedback, prioritising issues, and supporting team managers in BAU operations.

  • Accountable for the successful deployment of UK client central implementation program with sponsorship from the Senior Leadership Team & Business Analysts.

  • Accountable for the successful rollout of new automation tooling across the department for Build, Data Migration, Parallel, Data refresh and any future initiatives in this area alongside the technical consultants.

  • Own all department information depositories & audit activities, including their ongoing governance such as SharePoint, PlanView, departmental audits, business continuity plans and any future initiatives.

  • Own all PlanView & Order-to-Cash (OTC) related functionality, process, and future projects alongside the department data & business analyst resource.

  • Own & sponsor the continued roll out of ProjectPlace across the UK & India Implementation teams alongside the PMO function & SLT.

  • Successfully review and deploy additional implementation service opportunities across the department, with steer from the Implementation Portfolio Manager & SLT.

KEY DUTIES/TASKS

  • Drive full project lifecycle using methodologies such as Prince2 or Agile on a day-to-day basis.

  • Anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues.

  • Recommend process, product or service improvements.

  • Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

  • Contribute to the development of functional strategy.

  • Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.

  • Manage multi-disciplined resource assigned to projects.

  • Produce highlight reports for internal and external audiences, including CxO level where required.

  • Identify, communicate with and manage key stakeholders, at all levels.

  • Support ADP teams when required in providing information as a subject matter expert on project management, implementation methodology, project organisation, effort estimates and timescales.

  • Consult with internal onshore teams as well as the teams based in the CoE locations.

  • Maintain awareness and support of ADP policies and procedures.

  • Continue to update own knowledge through available resources to ensure familiarity on all new product releases and legislative changes.

  • Pro-actively identify improvement and growth opportunities.

  • Lead improvement workshops where required and present to internal and external customers at all levels.

  • Re-use industry standard good practice and experience

  • Work with other members of the SLT and other teams in or outside UK implementation to provide flexibility and business continuity as and when require.

  • Undertake other work as directed by the ADP UK Implementation Directors

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Educated to degree level or above.

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering change & transformation projects is essential.

  • Computer literate and numerate, MS office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).

  • 5+ years management experience

  • Experience in multi-national system implementations.

  • Demonstrable experience in being a ‘leader of leaders’ is advantageous.

  • Prince2 Qualification or MSP certification would be an advantage.

  • Client facing project related experience is essential.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • The role will require regular travel within the UK and on occasion may require travel within Europe, therefore flexibility and the ability to stay overnight is required.

  • Car owner with full driving license.
