POSITION SUMMARY: The Production Associate (Programs & Events) serves as a member of the Production team and is an entry level position. The role is primarily responsible for classroom and event set up and breakdowns, maintaining records and other documents related to inventory, as well as program room and equipment cleaning and maintenance. The role also acts as a liaison between presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a level of support and customer service. Will train the right person. The ideal candidate works well independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. They must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and have excellent communication and customer service skills. ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - Sets up and breakdowns for all programs, events, and meetings. - Communicates directly with Kripalu faculty, visiting presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a high level of customer service. - Maintains program rooms and work areas (i.e., cleaning of blankets and yoga mats, mopping floors, distribution of yoga props, etc.). - Receives and stores incoming supplies and equipment. - Supports Supervisor and Leads by ensuring clear communication regarding successes and challenges during shift hours and before shift changes. - Takes the initiative and follows through with directed projects. - General office duties as assigned (i.e., paperwork, record keeping, filing, photocopying, printing). - Adapts to new software and technologies. - Provides coverage or perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, within production and in other areas of the organization when needed.
