Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Aerospace industry, based in Stockton, California. This role will primarily focus on full-cycle accounts payable duties in a high-volume environment. You will be responsible for tasks such as matching and batching up through the check runs and handling end-of-month responsibilities within the Accounts Payable department.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing and recording of company's payments and expenses

• Perform daily functions including receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices

• Use accounting software systems and tools such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties

• Utilize skills in Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure smooth financial operations

• Handle check processing and data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments or invoices

• Adhere to organizational procedures and policies for accounts payable

• Assist in month-end procedures and maintain up-to-date and accurate records

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve and streamline processes. Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Accounts Payable

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions and Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience in Check Processing and Data Entry

• Ability to accurately identify and resolve Discrepancies

• Knowledge and understanding of the Aerospace industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
