Manager/Educator responsibility over Pediatric Service Line: Pediatric Acute, NICU, and Transport team as needed. Administrative responsibility for Pediatric Services throughout the facility under and reporting to the Director of Pediatric Services. To serve as a role model for staff throughout the Pediatric Service Line.
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
5 years Pediatric/PICU nursing experience and 2 years nursing leadership with documented ability in development of educational platforms and quality initiatives
Pediatric Services Manager and Nurse Educator: Providing leadership and developing educational opportunities for staff development.
Specialty Certification: RNC, CCRN, etcwithin 6 months of hire
BLS, NRP, PALS,
MSN or masters equivalent degree in business or healthcare
Other certifications ie: Leadership, Education, etc
Instructor for: 1. S.T.A.B.L.E. 2. NRP 3. PALS 4. ACLS
