Aerotek 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician in Sturgis, Michigan
Description:
This maintenance technician will be a crucial part of the maintenance department on 2nd shift. Will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections/repairs on plastic injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment throughout the facility. Will also perform routine fixture repair and facilities maintenance. Will work on grinders, presses, heaters dryers, cranes, presses, tooling, motors, and hydraulics/pneumatics. May perform machine teardowns and rebuilds as needed. Will work on some 3-phase motors and 480v electrical. This is one of the best performing plants in SW Michigan and the average tenure of employees here is 10+ years. Pay/Shift:
1 opening on 2nd shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM Monday-Friday with some overtime as needed on weekends
up to $32 an hour depending on experience
COMPANY PAID apprenticeship offered to work toward Journeyman Card

3+years of experience performing PMs on industrial machines and equipment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
3+ years mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
3+ years hydraulics and pneumatics experience
Nice to Have:
PLC experience
Injection molding experience
Experience troubleshooting large hydraulics and tooling
Rewiring and teardown/rebuild of industrial machines and equipment
Experience Level:
