Electrical Protection and Control Engineer

Powder River Energy Corp. (PRECorp) is an electric cooperative serving 5 counties with residential and commercial electric service located in Northeastern Wyoming. We are currently seeking a Protection and Control Engineer in our Gillette, WY location, with the option for remote work from the right candidate.

You would be joining a team whose responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Design of protection and coordination systems, evaluating system improvements for new load additions, analyzing system outages and power quality events, review of substation and distribution equipment loading and providing recommended system improvements.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in utility engineering with an emphasis is Substation or Transmission Protection and Control, accompanied by a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering.
