Google Customer Solutions Engineer, Users and Products, Gemini in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 6 years of experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).

  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).

  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with software development, and with architectural components and system design.

  • Experience with Machine Learning libraries and concepts.

The gUP Gemini Partner Engineering team is a technical, collaborative, and passionate group that brings the best of Gemini to users through partner integrations. The team works with partners and internal teams to launch innovative integrations through scalable solutions.

The gUP Gemini Partner Engineering team helps build and productionize scalable solutions for partners to make Gemini, a product for grounded chat-based text creation, refinement, and AI-powered collaboration for users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead technical integration and launch of new partner integrations within Gemini, and improve existing partner/user experience and grow user value.

  • Contribute to the evolution of Gemini through partner solutions/processes, quality iterations (e.g., SFT, prompt engineering, evaluations, CLs).

  • Influence product strategy and work with cross-functional teams to bring partner-facing features to market.

  • Manage partner and user experience and advocate for user and partner success with engineering and product teams.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and latest machine learning research, tools, and techniques.
