Google Senior Product Manager, Technical Infrastructure, Compute/Server in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience building/shipping technical products.

  • 8 years of experience in product management, defining and developing X86 or ARM processors.

  • Experience with processor architectures, and taking processors from concept to production.

  • Experience in processor firmware development and production.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience leading and driving directions for open source/standard technology and cloud forums.

  • Experience in data center compute product management (e.g. hardware and software), distributed systems, technology deployment, and computer science.

  • Experience leading key strategic decisions that change and/or influence the direction of the company.

  • Experience managing global teams.

  • Experience with cloud/enterprise-based compute products and services, with an understanding of modern data center architecture and trends.

  • Knowledge of CapEx/OpEx models.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will own the product direction, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of Technical Infrastructure (TI) and cloud server products, and shape the future of our compute infrastructure solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Craft a compelling Compute Servers product direction and long-term roadmap that aligns with market opportunities and company goals. Lead the development of business cases for new product initiatives.

  • Understand customer pain points, use cases, and the landscape. Conduct market research and analysis, and collaborate with Engineering teams to gather actionable insights.

  • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and requirements definition to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.

  • Partner closely with Google product areas, engineering, and support to define product requirements, create compelling go-to-market strategies, and ensure successful product launches.

  • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Analyze data to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
