Google Software Engineer III, ML Infrastructure in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

  • 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

  • Experience with Google Infrastructure and Machine Learning Infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.

  • Experience with Python or C++, Large Scale Computing and Machine Learning.

  • Experience developing accessible technologies.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000-$200,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Write product or system development code.

  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.

  • Build reliable, scalable and efficient infrastructure for machine learning training, including pipelines, workflows and services.

  • Collaborate with clients teams to help design and implement subsystems to solve their problems and integrate with TensorFlow Extended (Tflex).

  • Collaborate with other Machine learning (ML) Infrastructure teams across Alphabet to build next-generation of machine learning platform.
