Sr. Director HRBP – Customer & Marketing

Proofpoint, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director, HR Business Partner to lead our Global Corporate Functions HRBP function and drive organizational growth and transformation within this critical area. As the Sr. Director HRBP – Customer & Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with C-suite executives and business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, drive talent management initiatives, and foster leadership development to optimize organizational performance within the Global Corporate Functions.

Location: Based in the Sunnyvale, CA Corporate Headquarters

Your day-to-day

Collaborate closely with C-suite executives to develop and execute strategic HR plans that support organizational goals and industry best practices within Global Corporate Functions.

Provide expert guidance on talent management, organizational development, performance management, and leadership development initiatives tailored to the needs of Global Corporate Functions.

Utilize data-driven insights to influence key decision-making processes and drive business outcomes that support growth and transformation within Global Corporate Functions.

Lead and champion organizational change efforts to cultivate a high-performance culture and elevate employee engagement within the Global Corporate Functions teams.

Drive succession planning initiatives to identify and develop high-potential talent for critical leadership positions within Global Corporate Functions.

Partner with other HR teams to ensure effective implementation of HR programs, policies, and initiatives that resonate with the unique needs of Global Corporate Functions.

Analyze HR metrics and trends specific to Global Corporate Functions to assess workforce effectiveness and support continuous improvement efforts.

Act as a coach and mentor to HR team members supporting Global Corporate Functions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development within the HRBP team.

What you bring to the team

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

10+ years of progressive experience in HR roles, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP capacity supporting global corporate functions or shared services.

Demonstrated track record of successfully partnering with senior executives to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives within global corporate environments.

Strong knowledge and expertise in talent management, organizational development, and HR best practices tailored to corporate functions.

Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decision-making and measure HR impact on business outcomes.

Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, particularly within a global context.

Proven leadership experience, inspiring and leading teams to deliver impactful HR solutions and initiatives within global corporate environments.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable pay and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes flexible time off, a robust well-being program that provides for 4 global wellbeing days per year, and a 3-week work from anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges:

SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:

Base Pay Range: 240,640.00 - 330,880.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska:

Base Pay Range: 197,760.00 - 271,920.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above:

Base Pay Range: 177,200.00 - 243,650.00 USD
