Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management.

  • 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience owning a portfolio of projects and driving long-term improvements in the technical stack.

  • Experience working in a logistics operations, inventory management, and supply chain management environment.

  • Experience supporting a global user base and working closely with Engineering and Google Server Operations stakeholders.

  • Experience working with data centers, cloud technology companies, or manufacturing.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively to discuss prioritization across organizations.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Technical Program Manager on the End-to-End Systems team in the Google Cloud Supply Chain and Operations Organization, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of software tools that enable server capacity delivery in Google Data Centers. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and test software that will improve the efficiency and reliability of our data centers. In addition, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that the software meets the needs of the business.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead End-to-End (E2E) product lifecycle of software tools for Data Centers that drive industry leading uptime.

  • Manage product documentation (business requirements documents, pilot plans, etc.), phase gate reviews, communication, and user feedback collection at various stages in the life cycle (e.g., User Acceptance Testing, User Surveys, Critical User Journeys).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders ensuring accountability for planning, providing visibility into resource needs and intake management of new features or requirements.

  • Communicate succinctly and clearly with cross-functional team leads and senior management regarding project status, resource requirements, issues, and priorities.

  • Lead the collaboration among Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure regional and global alignment on strategic product and technology road maps.
