Amazon Senior Product Manager - Exports in Sydney, Australia

Description

Are you an owner and a builder looking to help grow the Australian Amazon business from an early stage? Are you passionate about working with technology and product / engineering & business teams to enhance the customer experience? Amazon Australia is currently looking for a data-driven product manager to lead the roll out and ongoing management of one of the highest-visibility launches across the Australian business, with impact overseas.

To excel in this role, you will:

  • be passionate about the customer experience and delivering innovative enhancements on their behalf

  • have experience translating customer needs directly to engineering tech teams

  • be willing to "roll up your sleeves" and operate with limited guidance

  • have strong interpersonal skills, able to influence remote teams, both tech and non-tech

  • bring analytical horsepower, enhanced excel skills (ideally SQL) and a deep curiosity about how things work

  • possess highly advanced project management skills, ideally experienced working in agile environments

  • be commercially savvy and have excellent business judgment

  • bring operational rigor, holding your program stakeholders accountable to the highest of standards

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional or military experience

  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units

  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
