SUNY Upstate Medical University Equipment Inventory Maintenance Specialist in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

Manages department RFID/RTLS system/tags, maintains database of specialty mattress/beds and of equipment sent out for repair to ensure return of equipment in a timely manner, and maintains and processes orders and returns of specialty rental equipment. Provides clerical support to department to include customer service, resolving issues,

staff meeting minutes, filing, ordering of office supplies and other duties as assigned. Efficiently process invoices for rental equipment to ensure proper billing practices are followed. Delivery of equipment and/or pick up of soiled equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred. Experience

with Excel and word.

Work Days:

Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm, holidays may be required.
