IQVIA Pharmacovigilance Specialist in São Paulo, Brazil

Job Overview

This role involves reviewing and processing safety data from various sources. You’ll be distributing reports to both internal and external parties following regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned trainings on time.

  • Process safety data following regulations, SOPs, and project requirements.

  • Perform Pharmacovigilance activities, including collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AE), database entry, coding AE and products, writing narratives, and literature-related activities.

  • Meet quality, productivity, and delivery standards.

  • Comply with all project-related processes and activities.

  • Create, maintain, and track cases as per the project plan.

  • Identify and report any quality issues to senior team members.

  • Liaise with different functional team members and health care professionals to address project-related issues.

  • May interact with clients regarding day-to-day case processing activities.

  • Attend project team meetings and provide feedback on any challenges, issues, or successes.

  • Lead or support department initiatives.

  • Ensure 100% compliance with all people practices and processes.

Qualifications

  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent in a scientific or healthcare discipline. A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience : 2-3 years of relevant experience, including Pharmacovigilance experience.

  • Technical Skills : Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based applications, and applicable Safety Database.

  • Communication Skills : Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to establish effective relationships with team members.

  • Adaptability: Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities and changing demands.
