Job Summary: Dispatcher Supervisors combine limited management tasks with the primary responsibilities of a Dispatcher. Dispatchers are the main point-of-contact for company drivers, responsible for relaying relevant company information to drivers as necessary. In the Dispatch Supervisor role they also act as supervisors for the drivers, approving discretionary repair and travel expenses, assisting with Payroll processing, and handling other limited management tasks as necessary. Compensation range is $18-$25/hr depending on experience. Essential Functions: Plan drivers and crews daily schedule, setting up assignments as well as working with corporate to make sure all shipments are assigned and picked up Accept and register new shipments as necessary Dispatch crews for each job for each day and ensure workload is at its maximum Input weekly payroll into company systems and process paperwork for new hires Maintain logs for local equipment and trucks Assist in recruiting OTR drivers Help drivers choose efficient courses to fulfill their routes Coordinate with drivers to find available agents when necessary Communicate with agents to set up incoming shipments and labor as needed Update ETA's and shipment notes in relevant company software as needed Monitor drivers and ensure that they are following DOT regulations; stop drivers if they are in violation of regulations Review/analyze repair requests and approve expenses where necessary Review/analyze travel expenses for drivers and approve where appropriate Communicate with customers and with internal customer service about driver's schedule (especially regarding arrival times) Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn company systems Ability to articulate clearly Able to problem solve quickly and effectively Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry Knowledge of residential, commercial, and military move process Required Education and Experience: Required: High School diploma or equivalent Preferred: Previous logistics and transportation experience Working Conditions: Primarily indoors Primarily Office Environment Sitting for long periods of time Working standard weekly shift plus rotating on-call nights/weekends Coleman Worldwide Moving Benefits for Employees (not applicable for seasonal employees if not stated): 40 hours of VACATION PAY after 1-year employment Array of voluntary health benefits including but not limited to (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, and more) 6 paid holidays after 90 days for Full Time employees (Seasonal Included) Referral Bonus Programs Coleman Worldwide Moving (and affiliated companies) (collectively "CWM") is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
