Your Role and Responsibilities
You will be selling high value IBM Consulting Security Services for large enterprises
Responsible for creating and originating large security services deals across multiple security competency areas - like Threat Management, Digital Trust and Strategy & Risk.
Responsible for value selling and articulation of technical and commercial strengths of the IBM Consulting approach. Providing sales leadership and moving sales opportunities to closure
Creative prospecting through campaigns, business partners, and other activities to transactional services business to deliver on Quarterly signings quotas.
Working across teams, business partners, and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client
Maintaining a thorough understanding of the client's industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry
Compliance and adherence to the IBM Sales and Bid Management processes - pricing, complex solutions, contracting T&C negotiations and requisite approvals.
Meeting quarterly and annual sales revenue quotas
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 10 years' experience in understanding of competitive Security technologies and their place in the market
At least 7 - 10 years' experience in consultative selling experience to the executive level, large deal origination and complex solutions management.
At least 7 years proven track record of high performance delivering commercial success
7 years of experience working in or selling to one of the following industries: Public Sector, Government linked companies, Telco, Financial Services / Insurance, Enterprise
Ability to provide security insight to business leaders in at least one of the above industries - eg conduct and lead executive threat briefing sessions
Strong territory planning and territory management skill
An outstanding ability to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution based on leading industry solutions including IBM technology
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Strong territory planning and territory management skill
Proven track record of high performance delivering commercial success
Experience working in or selling to one of the following industries: Public Sector, Government linked companies, Telco, Financial Services / Insurance, Enterprise
