Aon is currently recruiting an Director to join our Health Solutions team in Taipei, Taiwan.

Role Overview:

  • Exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.

  • Manages professional employees and/or supervisors or supervises large, complex support, production or operations

  • Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to complex problems.

  • Responsible for the team’s financial result (P&L)

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Decisions require the application of discretion and independent judgment to determine appropriate action; normally have minimal impact on functional.

  • Incumbent typically has latitude to consider whether new procedures need to be developed.

  • Builds productive working relationships with peers and higher-level professionals internally and externally to exchange information and make recommendations.

  • Works with complex or high-profile territory/account, products/services, sales or account management process;

  • Develops professional expertise. Possesses an awareness of larger team/ department strategies and customer needs.

  • Applies company policies & procedures and takes a broad perspective to identify solutions to resolve a variety of complex issues.

  • Works on issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

  • Able to adapt broader policies & programs to meet the organizations business needs.

  • Has a solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts; may help develop colleagues' understanding; may be recognized as an expert in one area.

  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices.

  • Has accountability for the performance and results of a team within own discipline or function.

  • Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan.

  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

  • Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers.

    Growth and Sales

  • Uses knowledge to provide consultative advice and recommendations within specific functional areas.

  • Possesses advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.

  • Typically possess at least a few years of business experience, with intermediate knowledge of functional area.

  • Align with internal resource to create market and sales strategies

    Client Ownership

  • Constantly identifying valuable clients and where the biggest opportunities exist, developing client relationships positively influencing sales and client retention.

  • Positive Net Promoter Score from clients and regularly review value proposition to increase overall partnership position.

    Operational Excellence

  • Accurate and timely input of leads and pipelines in required internal platform.

  • Reviewing all out-going client documents including but not limited to renewal contracts, client workshop communications/decks.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Proficiency in Chinese/English

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically with good problem-solving skill

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

  • Detailed minded, proactive, accurate and well organized.
