Google Home Product Operations Lead in Taipei, Taiwan

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of industry experience in new product introduction/supply chain, management/manufacturing, operations/development, or operations engineering.

  • Experience across all phases of a product development from prototype to mass production.

  • Experience in managing and growing teams.

  • Experience in commercial negotiations (e.g., cBOM and MVA), and in contractual negotiations with partners.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams and in the consumer technology market.

  • Experience launching consumer hardware products using CM, ODM, and JDM models, with an understanding of the differences of each.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

  • Excellent investigative, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity, and strategic skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

  • Build knowledge of Google’s technologies, business goals, and the industry.

  • Craft a strategy to enable product development by leveraging partners in support of the growth of the product portfolio.

  • Manage partners to meet program requirements in terms of optimal pricing, quality, resources, schedule, capacity, and technology.

  • Lead cross-functional teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp and product transitions at manufacturing sites.

  • Mentor and grow the team by motivating, influencing, and inspiring.
