ACH Product Manager

J.P. Morgan Wholesale Payments provides cash management, liquidity, commercial card, foreign exchange, and escrow solutions to clients across the world. J.P. We have been a key network participant, consistently driving the network's innovation, strategy, and growth. The Wholesale Payments ACH Product team is seeking an experienced ACH professional who has an outstanding business sense, strong organizational skills, proven leadership skills and the ability to develop strong relationships both internally and externally.
The successful candidate will play an integral role in representing the ACH Product across the firm, coordinating with partners and support staff to identify and resolve process gaps, provide training, and contribute to the overall success of the ACH Product. A strong ACH foundation with core knowledge of ACH processing, rules, practices and industry expectations is required. The ability to identify and communicate best practices to both internal partners and external clients across a multitude of ACH functional scenarios is a core competency. The successful candidate will be a creative problem solver with the ability to execute and deliver key initiatives. The individual will perform well in cross-functional teams; consistently display leadership and ownership and demonstrate the ability to communicate with senior level executives both verbally and in written communications/presentations.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
Provide ACH subject matter expertise to solve business challenges for internal and external clients
Apply best practices, network operating rules and exceptional technical knowledge to create market leading solutions
Engage with partners across the firm, serving as an ACH expert , identifying, and implementing opportunities for efficiencies, process improvement and best in class product offering
Liaison with Product, Operations, Technology and Control stakeholders in support of their ACH related initiatives; ensure optimal integration with ACH functionality
Develop detailed project execution plans and tracking against milestones; problem solve issues that arise during the project execution phase
Represent Wholesale Payments ACH in industry initiatives, programs, and requests.
Partner with the Payables Product team in driving the innovation agenda
Bachelor's degree preferred.
4-6 years relevant experience in an ACH related role with a strong knowledge of ACH Rules and practices - AAP Certification encouraged.
Proven project management experience, self-directed, able to work independently and within groups
Strong team building and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute against critical deliverables, coupled with a sense of personal ownership and initiative. Results oriented, self-motivated, energetic, and proactive.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills including solid problem-solving ability, good decision-making abilities and ability to handle multiple initiatives/projects/work streams simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication including experience in presenting to senior managers
Excellent PC Skills - Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
