The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Job Summary:

In this role you will collaborate with other senior technical team members and other developers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative technology solutions. You will interact with various technology, product, and business teams across MUFG.

Perform complex application design and programming activities in the latest technologies: Java, React, Node, Angular API, microservices, Kafka, MQ, AWS/Cloud services & infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

Perform integrations between on-premises and vendor hosted applications.

Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform application design and programming activities in the latest technologies: Java, React, REST, microservices, MQ, AWS/Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

  • Provide clear technical guidance with the focus in user experience, security, app performance integrations

  • Ensure projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines

  • Deliver projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines

  • Sustain and enhance the application's functionality, performance and security standards.

  • Coordinating, integrating and supporting third-party software solutions

Qualifications (Skills and Competencies):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

  • Overall, of 10 years of experience in software development

  • 3 years of design and development experience in applications devices messaging, enterprise web application, integration services

  • 5-7 years of developing at all levels of the application stack: front-end/UI, MicroServices, API, JPA, SQL, MQ

  • 3+ years of programming experience in React, Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript, CSS, HTML

  • 3+ years working with teams in building and deployment of application on OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS/Cloud infrastructure

  • 3-5 years working with teams in software development methodology such as Agile, RAID, Waterfall, etc.

  • 2-3 years working with messaging systems: MQ, Kafka or related technologies

  • 2-3 years of application design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of platform user-interface features

  • 3+ years working with teams in building and deployment of application on OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure or Google Cloud

  • Strong experience in working with teams in software development methodology such as Agile, RAID, Waterfall.

  • Experience in integrating and implementing third-party vendor applications

  • Experience creating end to end data pipelines as well as CI/CD pipelines for applications delivery

  • Experience with distributed, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, and databases (Oracle, Microsoft SQL server)

  • Experience in delivering projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines

  • Experience identifying and debugging on-prem, cloud technologies applications

  • Experience implementing and maintaining applications with specialty in secured messaging, web application, RESTful APIs, middleware, batch processing, third-party integrations

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively

  • Team player and willing to play different roles as lead for a project but participant in others

  • Banking, Financial services experience is preferred

Education

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience

The typical base pay range for this role is between $120K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
