The MRO Specialist is responsible for every aspect of inventory management as it relates to MRO-related items, maintenance parts, maintenance workshop supplies, and equipment. This includes inventory management, procuring, and stocking maintenance parts and supplies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Purchasing duties to support maintenance departments include a maintenance workshop and a maintenance storage room.

  • Advise responsible personnel of any problems or delays that could affect production operations or the machine's maintenance activities.

  • Stock and control inventory of tools and parts to support equipment maintenance and repairs.

  • Determine the most cost-effective and efficient methods for ordering (e.g., bundle orders, re-order points, lead time).

  • Create and maintain MRO processes within and across departments to provide a reliable storage room for critical spare parts.

The MRO Specialist is responsible for every aspect of inventory management as it relates to MRO-related items, maintenance parts, maintenance workshop supplies, and equipment. This includes inventory management, procuring, and stocking maintenance parts and supplies.

Do you have what it takes?

  • At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing with MRO/maintenance parts management.

  • Experience and understanding of the importance of maintaining an accurate parts inventory level and accuracy in a maintenance management programme.

  • ERP Systems: Proven experience in ordering, planning, and inventory management.

  • Must be highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel).

  • Interpersonal skills: collaboration, teamwork, proactive and service attitude, personal and professional ethics.

  • Able to travel as an assignment from the manager (including overseas trips)

  • Able to read and understand basic technical datasheets and manual instruction documents in English.
