Arizona Department of Economic Security Warehouse Donation Processor in Tempe, Arizona

Working under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Warehouse Donation Processor receives and sorts donations that arrive daily at Treasures 4 Teachers. This is a FSLA classified non-exempt position, and the hourly rate is \$15.00-\$18.00 depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1: Interact with donors, volunteers, and members on a daily basis.

2: Receive donations and provide donors with receipt.

3: Work all donations to the shopping portion of the warehouse in a timely manner.

4: Keep the shopping portion of the warehouse stocked, clean and maintained in an organized

manner.

5: Keep the warehouse back storage area clean and organized.

6: Take out trash daily. Sweep and mop floors weekly.

7: Work with volunteers and volunteer groups by providing volunteer tasks for them to do.

8: Provide any additional services under the direction of the Operations Manager.

9: Assist our truck driver in picking up donations when needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1: Ability to operate a pallet jack and 2-wheel dolly.

2: Knowledge of principles and practices of organization.

3: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

4: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

5: Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.

Minimum Qualifications:

1: At least one (1) year experience in warehouse procedures and operations.

2: Motivated self-starter who can work alone or as part of a team.

3. Retail Store and Display experience.

4. Basic computer skills necessary (Word, Excel, Internet).

Physical Demands

Work pace is steady, requiring lifting and/or carrying of up to 25 lbs consistently. On a regular basis, heavier items of up to 50 lbs will be lifted/carried either with assistance from another person or by using appropriate material handling equipment.

Treasures 4 Teachers is a drug-free workplace. The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. During this period, both T4T and you will determine whether you can perform the requirements of the job you have been assigned to.
