To learn more, visit our . __ Position Overview:The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting at all levels, including non-exempt and Senior level professional roles. This individual contributor will be highly effective at coordinating and promoting DigiKey's opportunities to internal and external candidates. The ability to develop strong communication channels is crucial to success in this position. To achieve this, the right individual must provide "World Class Service" in every interaction, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism and expressing the highest sense of urgency. This position requires recruitment of all levels of talent, spanning multiple skill bases. This is considered a hybrid role which requires onsite attendance as business needs require. Responsibilities: As a full cycle, senior level recruiter, your primary responsibility is to fill key positions with speed, quality, and attention to customer experience. Source, screen, qualify and refer candidates. Facilitate interview process (i.e., arrange/conduct interviews, administer pre-employment paperwork, process background check requests) and administer assessments Communicate effectively in all situations, including when relaying information to or receiving information from candidates and stakeholders Extend employment offers and process related documentation to ensure that all appropriate contingencies are satisfied prior to onboarding Provide a positive and professional application and hiring experience to job applicants, employment candidates and employees Attend recruitment functions such as job fairs, career expos, college visits, high schools, etc and develop relationships with community representatives to promote hiring for DigiKey Participate in workforce planning initiatives and implement appropriate recruitment strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs Provide hiring managers guidance in human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations regarding candidate selection, interview process, hiring decision, etc. Maintain human resource information system records related to events such as hires, transfers, promotions, etc. Maintain current knowledge of federal/state hiring laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance Act as liaison with area employment agencies and recruitment partners Effectively represent the candidate and DigiKey during employment negotiations and when extending offers Attend meetings, conferences and seminars to gain additional knowledge and effectively leverage new knowledge in daily work; share learnings and mentor others in the areas of recruitment and staffing best practice Evaluate selection or testing techniques by conducting research or follow-up activities and conferring with acquisition or supervisory personnel Develop professional networks to support hiring; keep in touch with applicants to build interest in DigiKey for future openings; develop proactive pipelines Provide timely and accurate system reporting, including maintaining real-time candidate disposition status in the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) (We use Workday) Collaborate as a business partner with Hiring Managers and HR (Human Resources) Leaders Demonstrate leadership in team situations and support teammates a needed Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives Complete all tasks and responsibilities at a mastery level Required Experience Typically, 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, DEIB, and/or Talent Acquisition Experience creatively sourcing and marketing open roles to attract talent Understanding of the external marketplace and its impact on sourcing strategies (i.e., competition, unemployment rate, etc) Knowledge of HR principals and adherence to government compliance requirements Tools/Systems/Software Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter and other tools/social media MS products: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint HR databases and applicant tracking systems. External recruitment websites (i.e. Indeed, MN Works, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc.) Compliance and vendor screening portals Physical Requirements: Generally, spend the workday sitting or standing at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, screen and headset.
