Protect Public Health Work Outside Hourly Rate:$21.23. Flexible and Full-Time Work Available

-Get hands-on public health experience with the potential to be re-hired each summer. -Get on the job training. -Perform environmental health and sanitary code inspections. -Flexible term, starting in May, through September -Travel reimbursed, valid drivers license required, personal vehicle may be required in some areas. -Conduct inspections of hotels, motels, campgrounds, mobile home parks, lodging and rooming houses, food service, pools, beaches and water supplies.-Help protect drinking water. -Reduce community health risks. -Improve children's health and safety.

Additional Information for Candidates -Temporary employment for the summer season starting in May with flexible end dates. -Occasional weekend work. -One year of experience performing environmental health or sanitarian work, medical or laboratory technology functions OR a combination of college credits in specific science-based courses. -Transcripts including course names, credit hours, and name of the college where your college credits were obtained must be submitted with the application demonstrating qualifying coursework.
