Description

Position Purpose

  • Maximize urothelial cancer business managing in-line prostate cancer product and developing bladder cancer portfolio(New products)

  • Develop synergistic strategy of PC and BC to deliver holistic approach

  • Deliver the agreed forecast budget and business plan for BC PC – top and bottom-line metrics

  • Develop “one voice” to work with Asia pacific team to enhance collaboration

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Manage PC marketing group and BC marketing group

  • Lead marketing activities to ensure that short- and long-range sales volumes and projects are achieved

  • Develop launch readiness plan for bladder cancer new product and manage pipeline

  • Develop and implement short- and long-range marketing plans

  • Oversees the development of marketing processes

  • Manage Co-promotion scheme and collaborate with the Co-promotion partner of PC business to maximize sales

  • Formulate marketing objectives, policies, sales organization structure, marketing plans to achieve maximum sales and profit

  • Provide input for the development of products which anticipates and serves customer needs

  • Identify new markets and applications to assure volume growth

  • Inspire and motivate organization and demonstrate inclusive and Credo-based leadership

  • Be a coach, mentor and appraise subordinates and others’ performance and development

Qualifications

Preferred minimum education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • MBA or Master’s degree preferred

Preferred area of study:

  • Business Administration and/or Life Sciences

Preferred related industry experience:

  • Pharmaceuticals, Strategy Consulting

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 10 years related commercial experience

  • At least 5 years of marketing experience in pharma industry and people management experience

  • In depth knowledge of Japan healthcare environment and systems

  • Pharma sales experience is an advantage

  • Preferably experience in Oncology, but not must

  • Excellent track record in past positions

  • PC marketing group and BC marketing group

  • Vice President, Solid Tumor Business Unit and other Leadership Team members

  • Other commercial organizations in Japan (e.g., Commercial Excellence, Medical Affairs, Integrated Market Access Team)
