Job Title: Strategy and Insights Specialist

PRIMARY FUNCTION / OBJECTIVE
The main role of this position is to contribute to and drive ComEx and Business Intelligence initiatives such as SFE, KPI design & tracking, Market Intelligence. business performance analytics & reporting. The role will serve as a “center of excellence” and intelligence hub for the commercial functions, and contribute to achieving sustainable revenue growth while closely collaborating with Commercial teams as well as other relevant functions such as Finance.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY
Drive Market Intelligence
Help drive and develop overall Market Intelligence Strategy, working across internal stakeholders from Marketing, Sales, and Finance
Manage market research projects with external stakeholders to drive understanding of AVJ position within the market
Collaborate with global stakeholders to drive Market Intelligence activities
Manage Japan Market Intelligence gathering processes, such as the monthly MI survey, bi-annual VC survey, and bi-annual MD list survey
Enhance Commercial Effectiveness
Develop and implement SFE (Sales Force Effectiveness) strategy to drive the enhancement of sales productivity in close collaboration with Sales and other relevant functions such as Marketing and Finance.
Conduct analysis of external and internal environments, design PDCA process for commercial teams (Sales & Marketing) leveraging tools such as Oneforce and PBI
Manage, maintain, and enhance systems necessary for SFE such as Oneforce, PBI, and other data sources & channels (such as ChatBot, Business Object, various data masters)
Support the development of and track KPIs to effectively monitor and understand business situation in a timely manner to achieve sales goals, and continuously manage, analyse, and propose improvements.
Create and distribute KPI reports on a regular basis and deep dive into specific areas where immediate action is needed
Strategy / Plan Development Support
Support creation and implementation of commercial strategy based on MI and SFE analysis
Develop and implement strategic commercial planning and support plans to drive sustainable revenue growth in the short, mid, and long term.
Provide data analysis on sales figures, identify business risks, and propose improvement opportunities / strategies to VAS commercial leadership team.
Provide data and analysis to optimize sales resource allocation for annual business planning
Support business reviews by preparing data and analysis on regular / ad-hoc basis
Propose resource optimization to maximize sales effectiveness

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
EDUCATION :
Required minimum formal education : Bachelor’s degree
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE :
Minimum required professional experience
2+ years experience
Preferred professional experience
Experience in Sales, Marketing, or Analyst position in a field related to healthcare (medical devices, pharma, consulting, etc)
Experience with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and CRM systems (Oneforce, Marketo) preferred
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS :
