DoorDash Associate Manager, Strategy & Operations in Toronto, Ontario

About the Role

This role is a unique opportunity to get a front seat on accelerating market operations and overall strategy for DoorDash’s marketplace in Canada. In this role, you will:

  • Work with key cross-functional partners to improve current market operations and identify acceleration opportunities across our audiences

  • Pilot and test assumptions for the next phase of growth; incubate big bets to transform the business.

  • Coordinate quarterly and annual planning, tracking, and reporting materials

You will work directly with the GM of Canada in the strategy and operations team alongside key leaders across all functions. We expect this role to be hybrid and encourage frequent attendance in the Toronto office.

  • You have 4-5+ years of previous experience in consulting, banking or general management at a technology company, e-commerce, marketplace company or equivalent experience

  • You have a proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment

  • You’re relentless and approach goals with urgency. You roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make things successful

  • You succeed with a diverse set of responsibilities. You love working across a variety of disciplines and teams

  • You solve problems from first principles. You’re excited to solve problems in innovative ways, and you resist “this is how it’s always been done” thinking

  • You’re analytical - you let data win arguments, and you’re comfortable pulling your own data in SQL or modeling in Excel
