Insight Global Data Modeler in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Modeler to join our team and play a key role in designing and implementing data models for healthcare information exchange. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare data standards and data mapping to ensure seamless integration between our systems and various healthcare partners.

Skills and Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop data models for healthcare data using industry standards like HL7v2 and FHIR.

2. Perform data mapping between HL7v2 and FHIR, focusing on accurate representation and transformation of healthcare data.

3. Apply essential data modeling concepts like terminology management, structural mapping, and data quality checks.

4. Work with implementation guides (IGs) like US Core to ensure data exchange adheres to specific industry best practices.

5. Collaborate with IT teams, including developers and data architects, to implement data models and ensure integration success.

6. Maintain a deep understanding of evolving healthcare data standards and best practices.

7. High-level communication skills and be able to appropriately communicate to technical and non-technical stake holders. - Knowledge of HL7 CDA is a plus null
