The opportunity

The Portfolio Analyst will be responsible for creating Teva Canada projects (Generics and Innovative Medicines) in our Global project management tool (PLM) and ensure the information is updated as needed. This individual will also be responsible to create business cases for all new Gx projects using our standard template, update existing ones, upload the business cases to our IM consolidated tool and monitor updates to ensure they are up to date. In doing so, this role will also recommend changes based on analysis and reports created to support decision making. Furthermore, this role will help with efficiencies by providing automation solutions as possible between the difference data sources and systems we use internally.

How you’ll spend your day

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Create and monitor PLM projects for Teva Canada

  • Create a new project for each candidate for both the Portfolio and the BD teams

  • Update as needed the submission date, approval date and launch date

  • Monitor projects and provide timely reporting to internal stakeholders

  • Liaise with internal team to ensure all dates and status are reflected

Create/Upload/Analyze business cases for Pipeline projects

  • Create business cases for new Pipeline asset and establish key assumptions with internal stakeholders

  • Upload business cases to IMBC and validate inputs between business case and IMBC numbers.

  • Ensure alignment between PLM and business cases dates (assumptions)

  • Automate manual tasks as possible to build efficiencies around tools over time

  • Support management with internal intellectual property management database

Your experience and qualifications

University Degree in Business or Science; A college degree and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree

Required: 2+ years minimum related business experience; Preferred: Pharmaceutical Experience

Strong MS Office skills especially in Excel (V-look ups, data analysis, macros)

Financial understanding of key financial KPIs for projects related to the business.

Strong analytical skills to understand large size of information/data

Strong continuous improvement mindset with an appetite to enhance efficiencies and processes

Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment

Ability to work independently and as well, ability to work collaboratively in a team

Ability to present data in a concise way while speaking with multiple stalk holders in the business.
