Job Description

Our client, in the Insurance industry, is seeking a Developer/Programmer to join their growing team. He/she will be assisting in the design, customization, implementation, configuration, testing, etc. of the Guidewire Platform and it's applicable products within the Insurance Suite. Will be involved in all aspects of Object-Oriented Design and Software Architecture, utilizing either Java or Gosu programming languages. They will be working within Guidewire's Billing Center systems/applications, They will be working as a part of an Agile Development team, in support of all yearly releases. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, J2EE, HTML, .NET, SQL, and XML. He/she will have the opportunity to grow professionally within the team.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience working with Java, supporting various applications

Extensive experience writing SQL queries; experience working with object oriented architectures such as J2EE or .NET

Strong experience with web development technologies such as: HTML, XML, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, and JQuery

Extensive experience working in a high pace Agile Development environment Experience with the Guidewire platform: Billing Center, Claim Center, or Policy Center

Experience working in the insurance industry null
