Job Summary:

The Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) Program, within the Shipboard Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Area has a need for a Program Execution Coordinator (PEC). This position will support program leadership as a member of the program leadership team, and work with the respective integrated program managers and cross product teams.

The PEC is responsible for driving program execution, alignment, and cadence through coordination of schedule/event management and direct engagement with the program teams and functional partners. In pursuit of day-to-day program cadence excellence, this role must work assigned tasks quickly, efficiently, effectively, and proactively identify priorities and areas for improvement. The PEC will also coordinate program and customer interactions to optimize program activities and facilitate an effective working environment. ESSM is a large, global program in need of daily oversight ensuring communications, cadence and integration are sustained as a top priority.

This position will be onsite at our East Herman's Road, Bldg. 810 facility in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Assist with the day-to-day program execution cadence (battle rhythm), (ex: Coordinate operational aspects of projects and special assignments)

  • Coordinate program and functional area reviews, strategic planning, agile planning, static program meeting management, etc.

  • Drive strategic planning process and mapping to agile execution

  • Conduct and coordinate regular meetings with customers and program execution teams, including domestic and international customer program reviews

  • This includes coordinating with security and facilities for visitor access

  • Drive internal and external (as needed) communications with consistent messaging

  • Capture and track program action items and work with action owners to ensure timely satisfactory closure of actions

  • This includes actions owed to senior leadership above the program level

  • Identify and drive actions needed for key program assessments and metrics

  • Responsible for working program staffing needs and succession planning and communicating those needs across corresponding functional areas.

  • Collaborate with programs for coordination of award submission, morale events

Basic Qualifications:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting program execution needs, experience with global programs

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to drive priorities in a fast-pace, dynamic program

  • Previous experience supporting programs and office spaces in a classified environment, with demonstrated knowledge of security practices to include open / close procedures.

  • Experience in scheduling, operating, and securing classified telecommunication systems (video and voice)

  • Demonstrated experience with Global Trade/ITAR compliance

  • Certified agile SAFe practitioner

  • Experience and/or the ability to quickly learn organization processes: travel, expensing, facilities, visitor requests, security compliance, and conference room set ups

    This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.   • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

  • Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

  • Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed .

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
