Job Overview:

A Pro Account Executive’s (PAE) primary mission is to achieve and surpass all sales and gross margin objectives within their designated area and customer segment. A Pro Account Executive must focus on building strong relationships with both their external customers (pool professionals and commercial accounts) as well as with their internal customers (Store teams and CSC teams). A PAE is the leader of the trade and commercial programs in their designated area and thus must partner and work seamlessly with multiple company departments to ensure success of the segment and customer satisfaction are achieved

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and surpass all sales and gross margin objectives within their designated area and customer segment

  • Grow market share through new customer acquisition, existing customer development

  • Strategically target and grow a large volume of trade and commercial customers

  • Manage and grow the Pro Partner Program within their designated area. This includes interviewing, enrolling, tracking, and meeting with both store teams and customers to ensure the success of the program

  • Work closely with District Managers, CSC teams, and Retail store teams, to ensure customer expectations are properly communicated and administered. This includes assistance with training of teams, coordination on delivery of items, and collaboration on product availability

  • Territory management of both internal (Leslie's personnel) and external customers (trade and commercial) including but not limited to frequency of customer interactions, optimized territory routing, customer follow-up and communication and overall customer Leslie’s experience

  • Execution of all Leslie’s programs, initiatives, and objectives

  • Responsible for all Loss Prevention procedures including, but not limited to laptop computers, cell phones, reports, etc

  • Assist with the development of marketing plans, pricing, and strategies

  • Conform to all Leslie’s standards for attendance, security, and professionalism

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 3+ years of related experience in sales, customer service, direct marketing, pool trade, pool supply chemicals, supply chain and/or distribution preferred

  • Previous experience in using data to enrich customer experience a plus

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Superior customer service

  • Strong sound judgment

  • Valid driver’s license
