JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Join the dynamic Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within Information Security at Penn State as an IAM Analyst .  In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in protecting our critical applications, data, and systems from unauthorized access. As an IAM Analyst, you’ll need to balance priorities, embrace new technologies , and be committed to continuous learning. Your responsibilities will include administering identities, authentication services, and access rights both within and outside the University.

The location of this position is flexible and can operate in a full remote capacity within the United States. Standard working hours are in the Eastern time zone. Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will :

  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Possess strong problem-solving skills

  • Handle multiple priorities with close attention to detail

  • Consult with stakeholders and business partners to troubleshoot issues

  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

    Qualifications

    This position minimally requires a bachelor's degree or higher and 3 + years of related experience or   an equivalent combination of education and experience.   

    Desir ed related experience :

  • A background in Identity and Access Management or Information Security

  • Experience working in higher education, specifically, a large, distributed university

  • Familiarity with SailPoint IdentityIQ or other identity governance systems

  • Familiarity with RBAC and Provisioning

  • Familiarity with SAP, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Workday, Salesforce

  • Understanding of the employee and student lifecycles

  • Experience with business process analysis, improvement and implementation

  • Experience with data analysis

  • Experience with usability testing, test cases and test plans

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades is:

$61,800.00 - $89,600.00
