Northrop Grumman Space PMO is seeking a Mid-Career (level 3) Systems Software Analyst. This position will be 100% virtual/primarily work from home. This could change depending upon business conditions.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Analyze, enhance, install, test, and modify enterprise-wide software systems
Develop requirements, workflow, and perform systems analysis
Correct data errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities
Establish standards for the development and maintenance of new and existing products
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, meet with team members and users to develop solutions
Provide real time gathering of inputs from the manufacturing work centers, document and track each item to closure within the requirements of change control process
Support Solumina G-Series (G8) to iSeries transition, including defining business processes and new software capability, implement and manage integration API elements using software configuration management practices
This role is typically designed for data analytic responsibilities or minor system administration duties
Responsible to prioritize work, perform work independently and within a team. Ability to receive guidance from senior technical teammates
Represent the organization to other business groups, provide sound technical understanding and commit to performance within the margins of the system capabilities
Basic Quali fi cations:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics or STEM equivalent with 5 Years of relevant experience OR 3 years of relevant experience with a Masters Degree.
Must be able to analyze and validate the performance and validity of interfaces and supporting system software to specified system requirements
Experience providing technical solutions consistent with organizational objectives and business processes
Must be able to share a rotating schedule for ‘on call’ support over nights, weekends, and holidays with other team members
Knowledge of software verification processes and techniques, test reporting, regression testing, and test data analysis
System integration experience
Strong problem-solving skills; Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) preferably Solumina applications
Experience with Database queries and Data mining using an intermediate level SQL
Knowledge of programming (e.g. Python or JAVA) and Kubernetes framework
Understanding of software INI, UDV, SQL libraries and familiarity with version control systems like Git/Bitbucket
Experience with ERP systems preferably Deltek Costpoint
Basic understanding of configuration management, process flow and general manufacturing processing standards
Familiar with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and best practices in server management
Salary Range: $97,500 - $146,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
