200MM PROCESS TECHNICIAN
JOB DUTIES
Evaluate, process, and act on data as assigned to ensure efficient operations. Recommend changes to maintain process integrity and quality standards. Develop/implement process improvements.
Conduct tests, gather data, and test processes/product for conformance to specifications.
Create/review/revise SWPs/SOCs and other controlled documents.
Maintain equipment in coordination with maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance. Identify and resolve equipment problems and take corrective action as appropriate. Replace consumable parts as required. Perform routine equipment reviews on a scheduled basis.
Run qualification tests on equipment. Compile data and produce rank qualification reports.
Work with vendors to ensure proper installation and maintenance procedures are documented and implemented.
Collect and analyze data or samples using standard industrial methods and precision measuring instruments. Examples may include testing wafers to confirm machine operation, chemical testing of products to check quality, or air and water samples for environmental analysis.
Document and revise new equipment use and processes in conjunction with SEH-A staff
Compile, verify, and analyze data and test results using SPC and statistical analysis techniques. May present findings to production, engineering, or support groups.
Work with training staff to revise area training manuals and materials. May assist with floor training.
May program/modify programming of process equipment using relevant software tools depending on type of process equipment used in assigned work area.
Other assigned duties dependent on specific process/tools.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
3 yrs experience in a process manufacturing environment OR a combination of education, training, and experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Proven data acquisition and analysis skills
Must be able to interface and work well with others including: engineering, production, facilities, etc
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
AS degree in an engineering related field
CAD experience a plus
3D Printing experience a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and safety procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel objects, tools and controls. Kneeling, bending and crouching positions, as well as the lifting of parts and use of hand tools in such positions, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods of time. Frequent sitting for long intervals. Close vision (<2 feet) required. Overtime work may be required on short notice. On-call status may be required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America.
