News Corp Australia Key Account Sales Manager in VIC, Australia

What’s the role?

Develop and drive advertising sales strategies and innovative responses to campaign briefs to grow revenue from key account retailers. Provide client-focussed media solutions across all of News Corp’s offerings including digital, print, video, podcasts and content integration.

The Role

  • Reporting to a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving advertising sales strategies and innovative campaign briefs for a group of multi-million dollar clients to increase their audience reach and maximise advertising revenue.

  • Provide hands-on account management including client collaborations and project management of key campaigns across print, digital, lifestyle titles and content integration.

  • Keep tabs on daily reporting to ensure seamless campaign implementation and ensure a strong sales pipeline to drive revenue and market share growth.

  • Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Assume the role of a trusted media advisor with a core focus on fostering strong media partnerships, retaining and growing key clients, and acquiring new business across a thriving portfolio.

  • Mentor Client Service Executives to deliver on commercial objectives.

Who are you?

  • You will be an experienced and commercially astute media professional who ideally has experience in Agency, Digital and/or Media environments.

  • You will have a fresh and dynamic approach to driving sales strategies across various platforms for both revenue growth and retention.

  • You will have outstanding negotiation skills in addition to being able to think strategically and act tactically.

  • You have experience leading and implementing cross-platform strategic partnerships.

  • You will be agile, forward-thinking and thrive within a high-performance culture to achieve sales targets and drive results.

  • You're a true relationship manager who is confident in dealing with both direct clients and senior stakeholders.

  • You’re a natural networker who understands what is required to build effective relationships.
