Pay Range: $26.50 -$31.25/hr
Primary Function and Scope: Support the Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance Department while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Observe safety procedures.
Any other task assigned by management within scope of the position, federal and state regulations.
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
Manages the preparation and entry of complex A/P transactions; credit-card statements, utilities, deposits, benefit invoices, contractors and credits.
Analyze, prepare and issue weekly payments according to terms or specifications provided.
Drive Month-End Day 1 close of Accounts Payable.
Responsible for various A/P related general ledger reconciliations as part of the month-end cycle.
Identify and implement process improvements as related to duties.
Researches and resolves A/P issues including credit memo management and payment discrepancies.
Payroll Responsibilities:
Responsible for verifying the completeness and accuracy of weekly timecards, importing weekly timecards and PTO records into the payroll system.
Verifies to a high degree of accuracy the integrity of all payroll calculations, entries and adjustments.
Partners with HR Department to ensure employee activity is accurately recorded and documentation is appropriately filed, according to PMD corporate and HR policies.
Analyze, prepare and issue Benefit Arrears Reports (BAR).
Process irregular payments such as bonuses, PTO payout and adjustments.
Prepare periodic payroll reports for review by management.
Identify and implement process improvements in conjunction with the Accounting Manager.

Education And/Or Experience:Minimum Associates Degree, with concentration in Accounting and 4+ years related experience in Accounts Payableand Payroll preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills required. Ability to establish rapport and maintaineffect working relationships with co-workers, vendors, and customers.
