Role description

The opportunity

We are looking for someone passionate about quality! Would you like to be a part of our international Release Engineering Quality Assurance team? The team is focused on the quality in the latter stages of development for all supported versions of the Unity editor.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be a part of a team of quality engineers who execute testing activities such as functional, exploratory, regression, usability, user acceptance, compatibility or ad-hoc testing.

Here at Unity, we will help you grow your understanding of software engineering and quality. Within the role, you will also have plenty of opportunities to expand your technical skills and directly affect the quality experience for our users.

What you'll be doing

• Work with the release team to provide feedback and report issues on the quality of the Unity engine.

• Perform real-world scenario testing using the Unity Engine as our users do to focus specifically on usability issues.

• Collaborate with other QA members and developers to resolve issues and meet release goals.

• Collaborate on Quality Assurance reports.

• Investigate and report valid issues, supplying detailed information in associated issue reports.

What we're looking for

• You must currently be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master’s degree program.

• You should be comfortable working within an international team and need to be proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong motivation, high level of dedication, proactive and positive attitude.

• Exception problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.

• Experience using Unity.
