While this position offers remote work flexibility, it does require a minimum of 50% travel.

About the position

In this role, you will be responsible for strategizing, maintaining, and further developing our pathology services by fostering associate engagement, driving innovation, and ensuring financial success. Collaboration is key, as you will partner closely with our North America Pathology, Quality Assurance, Operations, and Consultation Services teams to ensure alignment and stay updated on client satisfaction and service changes.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing professional development projects, fostering growth through active participation in pathologist meetings and client relationships, leading and developing a skilled team, overseeing digital pathology implementation, strategic planning, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring financial success. Additionally, the role entails attending conferences to maintain client and vendor relationships and present on innovation.

  • Demonstrated capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently, maintaining focus on key objectives.

  • Deep-seated passion for aiding both people and animals, driving impactful contributions.

  • Impeccable organization and adept multitasking within dynamic environments.

  • Prior experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with lab protocols.

  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with clients and management, essential for seamless operations.

  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, potentially in a remote capacity.

  • Familiarity with Dragon software is beneficial, enhancing workflow efficiency.

  • Fluent in English, ensuring effective communication across all channels.

Education requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent

  • Board Certification(s) in Pathology required

  • 5+ years’ relevant experience, with a mix of Veterinary medical expertise, business acumen, and leadership experience
