About the Division

APAC FM is the senior regional management team that partners with other business unit and functional area leaders in the region to lead various corporate initiatives and to execute the Firm’s strategy. APAC FM is also a thought partner for Morgan Stanley senior leadership globally to help drive the analysis and strategic thinking behind key decisions and discussions around the Firm’s top priorities.

About the Role

APAC FM offers a unique opportunity to gain direct exposure to the Firm’s senior management, including Morgan Stanley’s Asia CEO and COO, country CEOs and COOs, and other business units and functional area leaders in the region. As a member of the APAC FM team, you will participate in the development and execution of critical business decisions that drive Morgan Stanley’s strategic direction and profitability. You will also develop a solid understanding of Morgan Stanley’s various businesses in the region.

Key Responsibilities * Supporting the identification, evaluation and execution of strategic projects across the Firm’s businesses and operations in the region * Partnering with colleagues from various business units and functions across the region to drive forward initiatives * Spearheading analyses of the macroeconomic, business and regulatory environments that relate to the Firm’s businesses and initiatives, and the syntheses of findings, implications and recommendations * Supporting the preparation of various MS internal governance and senior management discussions, such as Board and Operating/Management Committee presentations

_Qualifications, Skills & Requirements_ * 5 years of relevant work experience/expertise or 1-2 year in a post-MBA role in a high-performance environment * Relevant work includes experience at financial services (e.g., investment banking or corporate development/strategy teams in top-tier banks) and leading management consulting firms * Fluency and strong articulation in English; working level proficiency in Chinese (written and verbal) * Strong proficiency in Powerpoint and Excel * Keen interest in financial services, banking, corporate development, and strategy consulting * Distinctive problem-solving, project management, analytical and quantitative skills * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders quickly * Articulate, with ability to produce high quality written materials for C-Suite level audience * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work effectively across multiple business units on multiple projects simultaneously * Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn * Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations
