You are passionate about hospitality and like to make events a succes? Join our lovely family in Amsterdam today and tomorrow you can apply at an IHG hotel of your choice in Aruba, Prague or Singapore. In this position, every day is different as you are the key person for the success of all meetings and events planned in our 6 meeting rooms, the restaurant, the bar or any other space in the hotel. Your day to day

You are working all around the hotel to prepare and assist during meetings and events, making sure that thanks to your service, customers are having the time of their life during their event.

Who you are

You are a great team player, passionate about hospitality and determined to provide the best quality of service for our guests and customers.

  • You preferably have experience in hospitality or a similar position. If not, you are excited to learn all about it.

  • You have an eye for detail and innovative to find solutions to any problem

  • You are social, like to communicate with guests and colleagues

  • You are stress resistant and a positive thinker

  • Although you're a team player at heart, being able to work independently is a must

  • Possessing affinity with AV technique (Audio Visual) is a plus

  • You are available in the evenings

About us

Crowne Plaza Amsterdam-South is located in the bubbly Zuidas area, just a 5-minute walk from station Amsterdam Zuid which connects you to the city centre within 10 minutes. Easy to reach, the area previously known as the financial district of Amsterdam is becoming more and more residential, with great bars, restaurants, shops and a Thursday market.

The hotel offers 207 room, 6 meeting rooms, fitness facilities, a lively bar and two outdoor sun-terraces overlooking the Zuidas area. In 2024 the restaurant was rebranded to De Japanner Zuid, Amsterdam's very first izakaya concept, drawing inspiration from the traditional Japanese izakaya bars where locals gather to unwind with drinks and snacks after work before starting their long trip back home.
